Here are all the images I used. This was quite the challenge.
First I recreated the actual graphics from the original. I found fonts that were as close as possible, and I pulled other graphics (like the grungey paper effect) straight from the old poster and cleaned it up for higher res.
Now onto the scene - I collaged together and painted the environment. Then I posed a 3D model to get the pose right, but ended up replacing the face and her left hand with other reference. Then I had to paint in the lighting on everything to match the original.
